Inclement Weather Guideline
The RME division in TCP is concerned with rehabilitating and maintaining railways which is typically civil engineering work and as a result of the type of work done the business is prone to be affected by inclement weather conditions. In order for RME to be as an employer of choice and-conducting fair labour practices it has to provide decent jobs and contribute to the country's economy, TCP must be proactive when it comes to planning for inclement weather conditions and ensure that the planning process sufficiently provides for- and includes time lost due to inclement weather conditions especialiy when determining the price / costs structure during the tender process and / or feasibility studies.
