Negotiations regarding the above re-convened on Wednesday, 27 June 2012 at Midrand. Management, once again was adamant to maintain its offer of 6.4%, therefore no agreement could be reached between the parties. Both parties agreed that they have reached a deadlock on the wage negotiations.

After receiving an overwhelming mandate, the parties signed the Wage Agreement 2012/13, Rotational Shift System Framework and Annexure to the Rotational Shift System Framework Agreement.
