Annual Wage Negotiations Feedback For 2012/13
After receiving an overwhelming mandate, the parties signed the Wage Agreement 2012/13, Rotational Shift System Framework and Annexure to the Rotational Shift System Framework Agreement. It will be appreciated if you will distribute the attached agreements to all constituencies as soon as possible.
Agreement 2012 Implementation Of Total Guaranteed Package: All Junior Employees: Prasa
Emanating from the Prasa Wage Agreement of 2011/2012 with special reference to clause 3.3 where it states that the finalisation of the implementation of the Total Guaranteed Package will be 1 November 2011, we hereby wish to inform you tha thte process has been finalised and that an agreement has been signed on 4 February 2012 during a special Bargaining Forum Meeting. Attached hereto is the agreement for your attention and distribution to all members. Please take note a communication process and workshops will be conducted in the forthcoming weeks. A comprehensive training setup will be triggered to ensure that this change to the remuneration structures will be explained to all members.

In appreciation of the sterling work our members are doing by recruiting members on a regular basis, the Executive Council has decided that as of 1 February 2012 the following will be affective. R100 for each member recruited R500 addional for every 20 members recruited. Payment of R25 for 10 members recruit is suspend for now All your good work and efforts to recruit members continiously is truly appreciated. This above decision is valid untill 30 June 2012.

Local Business Committees (Lbc)
During a recent meeting of the Strategic Leadership Forum (SLF) it was brought to our attention that the above meetings were not taking place at various workplaces on a monthly basis as stipulated in the Recognition Agreement (RA). Mr. Brian Molefe, Group Chief Executive of Transnet immediately instructed that these LBC meetings must take place on a regular basis as determined in the RA; and that feedback in this regard needs to be given during the next meeting of the SLF which is set down for 30September, 2011.
