When a person that is in the Transnet Retirement Fund “Risk Pool” passes away before reaching retirement age, such person is entitled to an “abridging” cover of three (3) months’ pay equivalent to the monthly pay received whilst in the “Risk Pool”.
Serious note MUST be taken that the attached nomination form must be completed and returned to the Retirement Administrators.
Where a person that is in the “Risk Pool” passes away and has NOT completed the said form, payment of the said monies will not be affected.
