UNTU IMPROVES ITS BENEFITS FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN

UNTU IMPROVES ITS BENEFITS FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN

From 1 March 2020 the United National Transport Union (UNTU) improved two of its benefits aimed at assisting women and families with dependent children under the age of 21.

UNTU’s maternity benefit for female members who has been a member of the Union for at least a year, has been increased to R1 800. This is for one confinement only.This applies to children born from 1 March 2020.

The Union also increased the funeral assistance benefit for members children from maximum age 18 to 21.

UNTU continues to be committed to bringing you more value for your membership fee.
